Frequently Asked Questions
question: What program(s) do you use for your artwork?
answer: I use Illustrator CS6. What I really like about using Illustrator for my artwork is I can go back and make edits easily. Color changes, placement of things, etc.
question: I want to commission you. What information do I need to give you?
answer: When contacting me about a commission, the best thing to do is give me all the details of what you're looking for right away. This includes character references, any specific details you want such as a particular pose or expression you want the character to have, and what kind of background you'd like, if any. The more info you provide at the beginning, the faster I can get to work on your commission.
question: It says that you don't take requests, but what about trades?
answer: Occasionally I will do trades. If I like your artwork, or your characters, I may be willing to do a trade. Please don't be offended if I say no, as most of the time, I just don't have the time to work on trades. I will, on special occasions, trade for items I'm looking for. Normally, I will post what I'm willing to trade for, and you'll get artwork over the amount of item (including the shipping costs). For example, if the item with shipping costs $20, you may get around $30-40 dollars worth of artwork.
question: I don't see what I'm looking for on your price sheet. Can you still draw it?
answer: Depending on what you're looking for, I may be able to take on the commission. Just send me the details you're looking for, and I'll let you know if it's something I can do, and what kind of pricing there would be for it.
question: Do you take commissions for logos/t-shirt designs/etc?
answer: Yes, though pricing for these are by case-to-case basis. Prices for logos though will be higher than my standard prices. You can contact me for more info.
